After a quick test later on, we found the majority of cameras were all able to make some good images now!

Pinhole Photography (part 3) Meeting 10/14/14
Philly Photo Day had just recently occurred so we spent some time getting a few Shutterbugs who had images from it to submit their photos. Then it was back to sorting out the pinhole cameras. As there were some issues with the pinholes last meeting, we decided to spray paint all the cans black on the inside to help prevent any light getting in and reflecting throughout the can.
After a quick test later on, we found the majority of cameras were all able to make some good images now!

Pinhole Photography (part 2) Meeting 10/7/14
This week the Shutterbugs were in the
darkroom for the first time, and got to try out the pinhole cameras
they created the week before!
After a quick
test to roughly determine a good exposure time, everyone went off and
tried it out themselves. There were some issues that need to be worked
out, as a number of images came out black, but that's just a part of
working with pinholes, especially for the first time.
There were however a few images that came out!

Pinhole Cameras!(part 1) Meeting 9/30/14
We started with a quick crit of work taken over the week.
Then the shutterbugs began creating their very own pinhole cameras, which is a camera created out of something light tight such as a can, box, or really anything you want.
Everyone had a can and we sealed up the lids and edges with tape to make them light tight, then drilled a hole (this is how the light will reach the light sensitive paper, and imprint the image) in each box. A few more holes and minor adjustments will be made next meeting, and then we'll be able to start making photographs with them!
New addition!
Hi guys,
I wanted to give a little into to everyone. I'm Tiffany, and I'm the new intern who will be working with the Shutterbugs this semester!
I'm a senior majoring in Photography over at the Tyler School of Art. I like experimenting with all types of photography, darkroom, digital, and alternative processes. Currently I'm on a kick of creating and photographing miniature scenes, which also happens to be my thesis show I'm working on.
I'm excited to be here helping out the Shutterbugs and gaining new experiences in leading and teaching others, as well as hopefully helping instill a love of photography in everyone here.
